Announcing the 2009 Blade Community Games Contest Winners!!!

We started a new project back in the middle of January 2009 with a new engine called Blade3D. During our use of this engine Dave found out that Digini (Blade3D developers) were holding a contest for a booth at this years Game Developers Conference in San Fransisco. So, we thought this was a great opportunity to show off what we can do as a team. The entry date of the contest was February 24th and we submitted what we had in development so far. With baited breath we waited and waited... Finally on Tuesday, March 24th, Digini announced their winners. And it was us!!

Here is the shot of our booth! Way to go guys!!!

"AIR is a Steampunk Online Role Playing Game, where players can sail the skies, mine abandoned eyots, create mechanical constructs, concoct potent chemical compounds, join secret societies, and participate in large scale battles as a sky pirate, naval officer, or mercenary. AIR features a deep character development system where the choices your player makes affect his or her attributes and alliances. Take to the skies and unlock the secrets of AIR!"

Nan Desu Kan has once again come and gone, however as always it was a blast - especially because Gaslight Studios was able to host a seminar on making video games! We had a great turnout, and got some good video and photographs from the event. We even got to hand out some wonderful swag and some excellent prizes thanks to the generous folks at GarageGames!
